Self as a measuring device

One can view one's reactions as a measuring device, but only if one knows one's highest and lowest extremes.  First one must immerse oneself in situations to find the points at which one finally becomes defeated and too stressed.  Then one must immerse others in similar situations, to find their readings.  After that, one can proceed to a comparative analysis.
