Therapy caters for the hyper-emotional modern character structure
Unless you have a hyper-emotional character structure, you surely cannot gain from therapy (should you need it) in the contemporary context, as contemporary therapy does not cater to a character structure apart from of the modern sort.
I wanted from therapy some debriefing as to why modern people hated my background (to understand what was legitimate, or else scheming and excessive reactions to it) and to gain a balanced sense what modernity really was.
