Some cognitive distortions form the very fabric of our social realities
When pushing out beyond the limits of the individual self, what can one expect to find? Perhaps not "objective reality" as such. Rather something just as artificial as the individual self, but different in some ways.
The only requirement here is to avoid an a appeal to nature -- since this would be an appeal to the universalizability of what are actually culturally conditioned sensibilities.
