Basic metaphysics

The human psyche is strung out as a bridge between life and death. On one side is the mother's womb that caused us to appear into the world. On the other side is the father's womb, that consumes us, and takes us back into the Earth. Early life teaches us undifferentiation between ourselves and others. The father's womb teaches us differentiation at the cost of death. The mother's womb produces out of itself continuity; the father's womb produces manufactured goods and financial dealing.
