Insanity

The greatest naivety there is: to assume that you and I are sharing the same 'reality' -- or that, because you feel a certain way, I am also aware of that, as an objective fact.

The traditional patriarchal mode of attack is, of course, to announce that there is an "objective reality", which somehow corresponds exactly to the patriarch's moods and perceptions. Those who fail to fall in line with it are necessarily "mad".
