Zarathustra and his "shadow": a case of shamanistic doubling

What Zarathustra's shadow calls a state of "mendacious innocence" believing in "noble lies":  On the other hand, the regular way of looking at things is that if you  lose belief in these "noble lies", you also "lose your way" in life.

This is of course a very one-sided way of looking at things.

Thus Zarathustra's energy and calm are qualitatively different from the fatigue and resignation of his "shadow".

Thus Spoke Zarathustra is intra-psychological and partly dialectical.
