All psychology tends to reduce reality to something smaller than it is, making an unknown and as yet unknowable human subject out to be already known and knowable, at least in its theory. That is why I wrote my thesis from a theoretical perspective of shamanism, which is one of the few theoretical platforms that is not reductionist with regards to the human psyche.
