The Patriarch?

The contemporary patriarch is, as far as I'm concerned, a creature of pure cowardice and little imagination.

What does he hope for? The nullification of women -- that they may be rendered to him as stunned and crippled prey, so that he may have ready access to any of them at all times, and thus feel better about himself.

Being mentally and emotionally crippled himself, he seeks a like partner only from among the ranks of those who have been specially crippled for him.

And yet, he doesn't know, for he lacks the imagination to see much further than his nose, that the zombification of all women would still not suffice to make him feel better about himself. He would still feel extremely wretched -- even if his prey were to be given to him in this way.

The patriarch? One who defers to his own character structure and its contorted, twisted demands. (He knoweth not why.)

If he had any insight, any courage, whatsoever, he would shamanise, and thus become a better person.
