Shamanic wounding

So Bataille detects a change in Nietzsche when he developed sickness in his robust body.  Isn't that the formulation for shamanic wounding? If you wound the sick body and it doesn't make much difference.  The person is still sick.  But wound the powerful personality or the otherwise healthy organism, and you get an outpouring of insight and an even stronger desire on the part of the wounded one to connect with all aspects of life.

Bataille says that at this historical point of  acquiring sickness (around 1880), Nietzsche not longer said NO to life in the Shopenhaurian way.  He began to say YES.
