The rebellious classes take their rationality too far

The second paragraph is why I prefer to gamble, even from a point of disadvantage, rather than take identity politics too far. One loses one of the main incentives to go on living if one does not throw caution to the winds and simply live life AS IT IS, rather than as one wishes it might be, for instance in terms of there being universal justice and fairness. In fact, all that would happen is that we would plod along more efficiently to our deaths.
