Nobody should get me wrong: I am not arguing for preferential treatment of any group on the basis of an ends-justifies-the-means form of egotistic logic.
I am intent on seeing methodological rigour applied to all analyses of historical and social situations.
The approach of reading one's own prejudices in a situation and calling the outcome 'moral" simply has to go by the wayside.
Nobody is that moral, that they can sit in judgement on the basis of prejudice without rigour.
