How our brains see men as people and women as body parts: Both genders process images of men, women differently

Has to do with infantile psychological dynamics and "part object" theory.

In short:  When it comes to perceiving women, we (apparently) regress to an infantile state.

Whilst that might seem all too natural and familliar, watch out that a part object (my fist) does not hit you on your way down.
