Chief of Army message regarding unacceptable behaviour
This video makes me feel very relaxed and sane. If only more people in authority could deliver sane messages about human relations, the world would suddenly improve.
It's really very impressive to me, and I think it shows that sometimes an authoritative === even authoritarian === approach works best. I have argued for this before...that having a soft or permissive approach to social relations causes society to regress, because the easiest thing for anyone to do is to treat women like utilities. A very young child views its mother as a utility and sometimes this attitude does not change even into adulthood.
