Subjectivity restored

Without psychological wholeness we are prey to others' designs.  We easily go out of one prison, into another.  We are, in a way, insane.   Is identity politics the answer to creating psychological wholeness? I say no.

Identity politics is like living an aphorism e.g. 'you are what you eat'--vegetables? Any particular vegetable? Some will choose to become cabbages. Some others will reject vegetables and identify as pigs or cows. You too can find fulfillment by fitting into a narrow ideology and condemning other pigs and cabbages or submitting to cows. On the other hand, we can develop ourselves and be for ourselves and recognize that individual humans will be different from each other in many ways and at the same time, similar to very similar in many ways.
