Vlog CCCXXXIII - Part 2 of 3





My father said, "You can't even speak properly" (after I had graduated with a BA). It made me very uncertain and worried that I wasn't using the right words for things -- a state of mind I never really got over even as I was writing my PhD. It has only been with a lot of very good management and decency by the current organisation I work for that I have regained a proper sense of my competency with language.
