finale

I'm satisfied that I've said my piece, particularly after my last video, made yesterday, which encapsulates not just our lost historical meanings but how this denial lends an electrical charge to gender symbolism in a vile and obnoxious way.  It has always been my aim to get people to focus on the political and historical issues, not the psychology that may be shaped by these.   By psychologizing, rather than acknowledging the shifting of the underlying historical tectonic plates, modern people  fail to understand themselves and others.  They attempt to become cleaner than clean, but cannot achieve it by denying their roots, which are also sunk into political and historical soil, just like everybody else's.

They resort to mythology.

People are demonized for not being able to make ourselves understood -- which is an impossibility when political and historical contexts are not to be taken seriously.  People lose their self-understanding and thus their ability to place themselves in a correct relationship to themselves and others.

Modern Western society pays dearly, in the end, for the saccharine version of reality it seems set on creating.
