Western styles of communication and their relative outcomes

Published on 17 Mar 2015
So far as Westerner's communication styles go, Americans divide the world into genders so that the sense of the whole suffers. Australians and the British may do so too, but my impression is that British men and women speak roughly the same language. The Colonial British (specifically Rhodesians) have reacted to emotion as an infection or allergen, with vengeful hostility. If you have suffered from the infection and have become sad, they will take vengeance on you until you lose the sensation, so as to become 'normal' once more The colonial language is concerned with putting up a shield against emotional contamination.
